Check out our 2022-2023 Donor Impact Report HERE
This past year, Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation celebrated an inspiring year of outstanding generosity from our community. We are delighted to share that thanks to some extraordinary personal gifts, we experienced our highest-ever level of support. The Foundation received close to $2.4 million to benefit patient care at Hotel Dieu Shaver.
In this Donor Impact Report, we feature three new state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools that were recently purchased thanks to our caring and generous community: the Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS), an accessible audiology Sound Booth, and a Driving Simulation System.
These leading-edge technologies help our therapy team streamline rehabilitation care in engaging ways to meet the unique needs of our patients.
You will also learn about an incredible gift we were honoured to receive, see many examples of generosity from community members and organizations, and learn firsthand how your support helps patients like Sara, a young athlete, rebuild their lives.
We will also show you how HDS is rising to meet the needs of our rapidly aging population. As Niagara’s only specialty rehabilitation hospital, Hotel Dieu Shaver optimizes and maximizes its resources to provide safe, quality patient care. You will see the significant effect Hotel Dieu Shaver’s team of doctors, nurses, and many other professionals have on the lives of thousands of patients across Niagara. We are proud to support the purchase of patient care equipment, improvements to treatment areas and specialty programs so they can continue their incredible and compassionate care.
We know we couldn’t do it without you!
Thank you for caring and believing in the work we do for Hotel Dieu Shaver. Together, we will continue to support the needs of Hotel Dieu Shaver, helping our patients’ journey through rehabilitation to wellness and improved quality of life.
With Gratitude,
Rick Mauro Tracy Geoffroy
