
Amy Cook
Upon graduation from Wilfred Laurier University in 1998, Amy joined Credit Bureau Services Canada, a multi-generation family business located in Niagara since 1932. Throughout her many years with the organization Amy has gained a deep knowledge base in the area of credit and credit reporting. She furthered her education by attaining her Paralegal Licence through the Law Society of Ontario in 2011. Amy has utilized this, along with her expertise in the credit industry, by developing legal strategies and solutions for one of the largest national client portfolios, that has become an industry leading program in credit recovery. She is currently a managing partner in the organization and serves as Vice President.
In addition to her professional career, Amy has dedicated much of her time to various charities, not-for-profit, and community-based organizations. She is a past Director and Vice President for the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation, a contributor for Wise Guys Charity (Wise Guys Charity Roast), former treasurer for the Niagara Panthers Senior Women’s AA Hockey Team, and past member of exeQutive – a GTA-based group and forum for LGBT Leaders. Amy is a 40 under Forty Business Achievement Award Recipient, and a nominee for the Niagara Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Family Enterprise). She is honoured to join the HDS Foundation and continue to contribute her time and experience, as well as carrying on her family’s legacy in raising money and awareness for such important healthcare initiatives in Niagara.
A lifelong resident of St. Catharines, Amy currently enjoys a very active and vibrant family life with her wife Danielle, and their sons Liam and Eddie.
