Here at Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation, we were very busy! Our community stepped up… big time… in support of Niagara’s only rehabilitation and complex care hospital. On behalf of our Board of Directors and Team at Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation, I am thrilled to share with you that our Snowflakes & Angels Christmas Campaign raised over $150,000!
This was a record year for us and we couldn’t be happier or more grateful. These funds are allowing us to purchase priority patient care equipment that is not funded by the government. This new equipment will help ensure our patients, many who face life-changing events, devastating diseases and challenging injuries, can optimize their recovery and improve their quality of life.
In this edition of @HDS Foundation NEWS, you will learn about the equipment we were able to purchase thanks to the support we received from our generous community toward our Snowflakes & Angels Christmas Campaign; hear about our upcoming signature event – the Celebrity Ice Cup; and be introduced to Marc André Way, the newest member of our Board of Directors.
