Greetings!
As summer comes to an end, we are filled with gratitude for the many ways our community continues to support the work we do at Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation. Over the past few months, we’ve seen this support shine in many forms:
- The impact highlighted in our Generosity in Action Report
- And our summer third party partnerships with Cat’s Caboose & Safari Niagara and the ongoing support from Delta Bingo.
Each partnership, event and contribution, reminds us of our dedicated and generous community.
Looking ahead, we are excited for Hope in Motion on September 13th. Hope in Motion is a mobility inclusive event happening at Canada Games Park. Whether you walk, run, use a wheelchair, cane, prosthetic or walker – all mobility aids and abilities are welcome. This annual event brings together patients, families, staff, and supporters to celebrate everyone’s journeys to wellness, while also highlighting the people who walk alongside them through every milestone. It is about perseverance, strength, recovery and resilience while also recognizing the hope within HDS.
As we embark on these upcoming initiatives we remain grateful for the unwavering support of our community.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Kristina Manzi
Executive Director
