Our heartfelt thanks to the members of the Heavy Construction Association of Regional Niagara (HCARN) for your generous donation to the HDS Carpentry Program. Thanks to their support our patients and volunteers will have the tools they need to continue to make wooden masterpieces in the shop! The HDS Carpentry Program offers patients the opportunity to utilize the carpentry shop to help them in their recovery from injury, stroke or other health crisis. Patients work to relearn fine motor skills and regain the confidence they had before their injury or illness. The satisfaction patients feel when they complete a project like a cheese board, birdhouse or other woodworking project is priceless.
