We honour the our incredible team of healthcare workers at Hotel Dieu Shaver.
When family visits were suspended last spring at the start of the pandemic, the staff at Hotel Dieu Shaver knew they had to step in to help their patients celebrate special life moments. This was just another way they would go beyond the call of duty to help our patients through their rehabilitation journey.
Whether it was the 2 West nursing team creating a birthday celebration for Marie who turned 103 during her stay or Recreational Therapy helping Jim meet his new great granddaughter with a window visit in the glass tunnel, we witnessed the entire team come together to ensure our patients felt kindness and love during such difficult times.
