Annual Tim Hortons® Smile Cookie Campaign raises $69,140 in support of Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation!
This year in St. Catharines, Thorold, and Niagara-on-the-Lake, local Tim Hortons restaurant owners and guests helped raise an incredible $69,140 to support Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation.
“This was Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation’s first time participating in the Smile Cookie Campaign,” says Tracy Geoffroy, Executive Director, Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation. “What an unforgettable experience! We thank our 200+ volunteers for your enthusiastic support, the thousands of individuals/businesses/organizations who purchased cookies, and the incredible team at our local Tim Hortons. We are overwhelmed with gratitude! To the Tim Hortons Owners in St. Catharines, Thorold and Niagara-on-the-Lake, we thank you for this incredible opportunity and for believing in the work we do at HDS. The $69,140 donated to HDS Foundation will be used to purchase 7 beds and 6 specialty mattresses - making a direct impact on patient care. It’s more than just a bed… it’s comfort after a long day of therapy; it’s care so wounds will heal faster; and it’s hope for a meaningful recovery.”
