NHL Alumni laced-up their skates to face off with and against Niagara hockey amateurs for Hotel Dieu Shaver’s Foundation 4th annual Rankin Celebrity Ice Cup. The two-day event brought in over $204,000 for the rehabilitation hospital’s Foundation.
Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre will be able to continue to purchase much needed patient-care equipment and upgrade treatment areas thanks to a donation of $514,309.15 from the healthcare facility’s Foundation.

At the celebration and blessing of the St. Joseph Statue that was once housed at the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Ontario Street, Mountainview Group donated an amazing $750,000 to the hospital’s Foundation.

Meridian Celebrity Ice Cup Raises over $100,000
United Way of St. Catharines and District along with MP Rick Dykstra presented a cheque for $50,000 from funds raised at this summer’s Hockey Night in St. Catharines to the Steve Ludzik Centre for Parkinson’s Rehab.
